mixed use developments

EUA have always enjoyed the cultural richness and design potential of urban mixed use developments. In recent years Local Authorities have been urged to promote mixed use developments to provide additional housing, revitalise marginalised areas, to reuse redundant and under-utilised sites, to minimise travel through the use of the live-work principle, and to provide for a more sustainable development pattern. For the developer, a mixed use development also makes excellent economic sense, often providing a degree of insulation to market fluctuation and project viability.

With a breadth of experience and knowledge of the key planning issues, and a commercial track record in this sector, EUA are well placed to advise on and execute such developments that respond to these principles.

Other benefits to mixed use are clear: enhanced site security, a captive customer base for certain types of use; flexibility and attractiveness to investors. EUA have a range of long term relationships with key mixed use end users, particularly Housing Associations who have long realised the attractiveness of mixed use developments.
