EUA works with its sister company European Urban Developments in proactively creating commercial developments for developer clients. Using a network of agents and property professionals, and using a 'keen nose', the EUA/EUD team identifies potentially viable sites in London and other urban centres and proceeds with experience-driven viability assessments.

The intention at this stage is also to examine the feasiblity of a development in terms of plannning implications and market trends, thus revealing the site's approximate capital value. Finalising the funding and financial elements of the project is also a key process, in order to secure fiscal support from various sources including banks and joint venture partners. Planning issues, massing, density and initial design concepts are further explored, to ensure further risk minimisation.

What emerges from these exercises is a commercially grounded appraisal of a project to which EUA is able to add value through its design expertise.

The combination of commercial analysis and an emphasis on sensitive design gives confidence to development partners, funding sources and clients alike.
